Hey Grown-ups; Halloween is upon us! Let Carmel scare you there!

We are fast approaching one of the City’s favorite holidays, Halloween.  Not just for the kiddies anymore, Halloween offers many things to do in the entire month of October! We at Carmel felt it our duty (well, it’s also a fun research exercise in our own planning attempts) to share some fun filled festivities with you! Be sure to use Carmel as your premier New York Limousine Service and NY Airport Limousine provider!

For the kid at heart there is oh SO MUCH TO DO, from the NYC party scene, hopping bar-lounges, visiting of haunted houses, scary walking tours, to the long-standing annual Village Halloween Day parade. Let’s get into the details!

NYC hosts some of the best Halloween parties  where you can dress up, compete in annual Halloween Costume contests, and spend the night dancing your heart out to live music from some of the best DJ’s NYC has to offer. Hosted by some of the City’s top party promoters, parties include rooftop parties, mansion parties, electric light parties, and so much more.  We recommend visiting Joonbug’s Mega Halloween Party Line-Up as your NYC Halloween party source.

The NYC pubcrawl offers bar-crawlers discounts and other amenities at a list of over 100 bars in the City. The way it works is simple; purchase a pubcrawl ticket for access to bars, pubcrawl drink deals, free shots and VIP access.  Of course, every pubcrawl package will differ. For some of the best drink discounts be sure to visit PubCrawls.com and Pubcrawl New York .

Want an outdoors Halloween themed experience? Visit the Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze  in NYC’s Van Cortlandt Park! Part of the New York Historic Hudson Valley educational institution, you can visit many NY themed parks that promise to give you the spook you desire. With different levels of scare, you can choose the historical themed park that best suits your fear threshold.

For those opting for an indoor thrill & spine tingling experience, haunted houses are the way to go! Visit the Blood Manor on Varick St. for all things blood; or Nightmare Killers 2 for a scary and surprising interactive experience. Men, be on the lookout as part of the fun is getting dragged off to John Wayne Gacy’s basement! Yikes. For more information, check out Gothamist’s  top 5 picks!

And finally…

As if we can write any NYC Halloween recommendation cheat sheet and NOT mention it’s two staple events: The Village Halloween Day parade & Webster Hell !!! It would be like eating chicken without the waffles, pizza without the cheese, and NYC without it’s transit system, well not really but you get the idea. The NYC annual Halloween parade  draws in the thousands. See people dressed to impress in the most vividly, uniquely designed and in your face costumes. This is the location to be on Halloween! And when it’s over be sure to stop by the famous Webster Hall for their annual event, Webster Hell. Spend the night partying to four levels of music, be part of the Virgin Sacrifice that takes place at midnight, and enter their Halloween Contest for your chance to win $500. This definitely sounds like an unforgettable experience!

With all of this going on be sure to secure your transportation with Carmel Car & Limousine. New York’s premier limo transportation provider. It’s an easier and more convenient way to travel when dressed up and not wanting to worry about our Halloween behaviors (wink, wink). And if you happen to visit any of these locations, be sure to let us know how it went in the comments section. We are just dying to hear all about it!

Happy Carmel-oween!
