Things to do this Mothers Day for the New Yorker

The weather is finally getting warmer in the NY Tri-State area and we at Carmel want you to take advantage of every moment.  We encourage you all to go out and soak in the sun!  So go out and explore our luxurious City. Remember, you can download the Carmel Limo App on your iPhone or your Android  and receive $66 in Car Cash to assist you in paying for your trips. Use the Car Cash to pay up to 20% toward each trip you book with Carmel, it’s our way of saying thanks for using us.

And with this weekend being Mothers Day we wanted to contribute a list of what we feel are some of the best places to visit. Take a look. See what you like, and when your plans are all finalized remember to book with Carmel to get you there. We can get you all across the City, to the Airports and back with the click of a button on our Carmel App. You can also call us at 212-666-6666 or visit our Reservation page and reserve a car there.

Go on a lunch or dinner Cruise!

Don’t have the time or money to take a week long cruise? Take a Mother’s day cruise, grab a meal, get some drinks and enjoy your day by the water. You’ll get to see sides of the City you didn’t even know existed.  World Yacht is offering Mothers Day brunch (boarding 11:30AM) with a special buffet (tickets start at $50 per adult) or a dinner (boarding at 6PM). The cruise offers mom a four-course dinner and dancing. Cruises depart from Pier 81 (West 41st Street and the Hudson River) and include beautiful and close up views to some of NY’s most sought out landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Governors Island. Or sip on mimosas when sailing with Hornblower. Hornblower yacht offers a Mother’s Day tour along the Hudson. Remember when using booking your cruise to have Carmel be there to pick you up!

Be one with nature & feel NYC’s energy.

If you have small children go spend some time at the Central Park Zoo. One of the more affordable Zoo’s in the City and located in the heart of Manhattan, the Central Park zoo’s offers mom, grandma, auntie, or any adult woman you honor a family filled day!

Ever heard the term, go hug a tree? Well go hug a tree! NYC parks are filled with weekend events for everyone. Check out Mamapalooza, the annual event at the Hudson all about motherhood. Mamas are honored with music and performances, live stand-up routines and lots of activities to cater to the entire family.  Or you can head on out to Smorgasburg, a weekly food fest held every Saturday on the Williamsburg waterfront at East River State Park. The food filled event sells both packaged and prepared foods, and brings together food-related vendors (we are talking cookware, utensils, etc) for a total of 75-100 vendors at this event every week!

Whatever you choose, Carmel will get you there. You can count on us for pretty much anything whether looking for transportation to and from the airports, local events, or just to pick you up after a long day. If you need a ride, just Carmel it! And remember, Carmel offers services across the City and around the world, so wherever you are, be sure to look us up. Chances are we are in that City too!
